“I didn't ask.”

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (ISBN 0-385-50420-9)

That's my page 23, sentence 5.

Here are the instructions:

  • Grab the nearest book whatever it happens to be.
  • Open the book to page 23.
  • Find the fifth complete sentence.
  • Post the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

I really wanted to grab my ADO.NET book, just to look cooler than I really am, but Da Vinci Code was about 6” closer than that one.  The sentence is a really lame example from a really cool book.  I encourage everyone to pick up a copy.  Anything that combines art and code is just plain cool.

Ryan says this is a new meme that's been circulating around the blogsphere.  I don't even know what the hell a meme is but I think its kind of a fun idea.  What's yours?

Meme: an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture.

Don't I sound smart?! Gawrsh. Well, I have to admit that I was only a "Grammar Master", didn't achieve a "Grammar God" status (even though it seems to be an easy thing to achieve. I think that getting a "Grammar Master" status is a nice way of saying you are an idiot).

He has a vision... a line about 'human potential blossoming, and I don't worry about HIS electability.
